What is Delta 8 THC?

Delta 8 is a hemp-cannabis derivative that has been on the rise of popularity for the past year. Many Americans especially older in age have turned to using this product, because this active ingredient is less psychoactive than that of Delta 9 THC.

Delta 8 THC is one of the many cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. Delta 8 is fairly similar to its cousin Delta 9 THC, which is the major intoxicating component in cannabis. Delta 8 THC is known to have more health benefits. Delta 8 is extracted from both the CBD and Cannabis plant. Both plants contain Delta 9 and will have the same benefits and sensation.  Although Delta 8 does not give you the same sensation as Delta 9 THC, it does still create a milder effect of making you feel “high”.
